Hello, my name is Daron Hogan

My Story

Born in Massachusetts and shaped by nearly two decades of military service, Daron Hogan is the co-founder and driving force behind Due Diligence Security. With 17 years in the United States Marine Corps, Daron’s career included key leadership roles, operational deployments, and advanced training responsibilities that helped form the foundation of DDS’s real-world, experience-driven approach to security.

Throughout his time in uniform, Daron specialized in high-stakes environments that demanded fast decision-making, team cohesion, and the ability to assess threats before they materialized. From supervising Quick Reaction Force teams to mentoring the next generation of Marines, he developed a leadership philosophy rooted in preparation, accountability, and mission clarity.

After transitioning from active duty, Daron brought that same mindset to the civilian sector—building Due Diligence Security as a way to close the gap between generic security checklists and the real risks individuals, schools, and businesses face every day. Under his leadership, DDS has grown from concept to execution, offering a full suite of physical security programs, assessments, and training services tailored to modern threats.

Known for his ability to translate complex security concerns into plain language and practical steps, Daron now works closely with clients across industries to build safer, more resilient communities. His background as a veteran, educator, and entrepreneur gives him a unique lens into the evolving security landscape and a deep commitment to helping others take ownership of their safety.

Outside of DDS, Daron is a dedicated husband and father of three, an advocate for veteran-led businesses, and an avid writer with a passion for leadership, resilience, and personal development.
